The Good Old Sunny Days

These pictures were taken a while ago, when the weather was just right in Bucharest, not too hot, not too cold! I think they were taken the day that I went to the Fashion Bazaar Fair. So taking a break from the holidays, I'm going back in the past when everything was green and the sun was shinny (that sounds a bit cheesy). And finally another post about me and my personal style! Even though I have alot of pictures to show you guys, time is a huge problem with me, cuz I have to select what to show you, and correct them a bit if it's necessary, and put my trademark there too, so....Yeah, but I'm coming back slowly now, you'll see much more of me from now on!

 Pozele astea au fost facute in urma cu vreo 2 luni cred, cand vremea era numai potrivita in Bucuresti, nici prea cald sa te sufoci intr'o rochie ca asta pe care o port, nici prea frig, ca sa tremuri! Cred ca au fost facute in ziua in care am fost la targul Fashion Bazaar. Asa ca hai sa luam o pauza de la toata agitatia asta specifica sarbatorilor si sa ne intoarcem un pic in trecut cand totul era verde si soarele stralucea puternic (uite cata inspiratie si cat spirit poetic pe capul meu). Si in sfarsit un post despre mine si numai despre mine (si vremea frumoasa de atunci, pe langa) si stilul meu personal! Chiar daca pe langa pozele astea, in ultimele 2 luni am mai facut si altele ca sa va arat, timpul este o problema fundamentala la mine (la care mai adaugam si o doza mare de lene), pentru ca tb sa selectez pozele, sa le aranjez un pic daca e nevoie si sa imi pun acolo si trademark'ul, asa ca...Dar incetul cu incetul revin in prim plan, si veti vedea mai multe despre mine si cu mine de acum inainte :D

Let's Call Them Snapshots

Here are a couple of pictures of me during my short trip, not taken to be put on my blog as outfit pictures, just normal photos. I'm showing them to you just to make an idea as what my outfit (well a part of it, I don't really have a head to toe photo) looked like. I should mention that I don't really wear sweaters and what I had on me were practically my warmest clothes :D But I wasn't cold, it was ok.

Azi am sa va arat cateva poze cu mine din scurta excursie pe care am facut'o saptamana trecuta in Brasov. Nu va imaginati ca sunt poze wow, special facute pentru a fi puse pe blog pentru a va arata tinuta, nici pe departe, sunt fotografii normale (adevarul e ca la cat de obosita eram numai de poze de pus pe blog nu'mi ardea :))). Vi le arat ca sa va faceti o idee cam cum arata tinuta mea din ziua respectiva (si cum aratam eu dupa doar 3ore de somn :D). N'am poze din cap pana'n picioare, asa ca tin sa mentionez ca aveam blugi drepti si ghete in partea de jos, ceva normal pentru munte. Si astea sunt cele mai groase haine ale mele, eu nu port pullovere (sunt certata cu ele, dar cred ca ar tb sa ma impac :))). Oricum nu mi'a fost frig, in Brasov nu sufla "crivatul" ca in Bucuresti de te ia pe sus la propriu.

First Snow

Winter is here! I can't say I'm happy with the cold weather, sure the snow on trees looks awesome in pictures but it doesn't really feel that great. As you can see I'm not a big fan of winter and cold days.

Last week I had to go to Brasov (a really nice town here in Romania) with some business. So thursday morning after sleeping like 3 hours or so (I watched a movie and lost track of time and went to sleep at 2:30am and woke up around 5:30am) and  running like crazy through the house doing my luggage, straightening my hair, doing my make up, shower and all the other stuff we girls have to do (and after I changed my bag with another one cuz the first wasn't big enough for all the crazy stuff I was bringing with me) I went out the door with like 50minutes before the train was leaving. And imagine me with my laptop bag on one shoulder and a small bag over it and the big bag with all my stuff going like crazy after busses and the subway and finally getting to the train station at 8:17am :D I was happy, I could buy my ticket and catch the train! Well, I forgot to mention that I haven't traveled by train in like forever :D And as I was asking for my train ticket, the lady from the ticket center or how you call it said to me that the train is beeing late. I was thinking like 15-20minutes or so, oh how I was mistaken, it was like one hour. I was a bit in awe, but thought to myself well one hour is not that much so I went to McDonalds and grabbed a milkshake and something to eat. I stayed in there for a while and eventually went to see how long till the train arrive. The time went from one hour to 85minutes, I thought I was going to be sick (to wait in cold weather it's not that great, forgot to tell you that in Bucharest that morning were like 2degrees). So I waited but the time frame was getting bigger, it went up to 105minutes and then to 115minutes and eventually the train arrived. I got to Brasov, where it snowed already and the mountains and everything was white (I have pictures), solved my stuff and then hanged out with my cousin till late. I went back to Bucharest the next evening with a train that arrived and left in time (thank god).

So not a post about me and fashion (well mostly about me, not about fashion), but with really nice pictures. Enjoy!

A venit iarna! Nu suport vremea rece de fel, sigur zapada pe copaci arata genial in poze, dar frigul nu se simte la fel de bine pe piele. Dupa cum vedeti nu sunt mare fan al iernii si vremii reci.

Si acum legat de prima zapada si contactul meu cu ea pe anul asta. Saptamana trecuta a trebuit sa dau o fuga pana in Brasov cu ceva treaba. Asa ca joi de dimineata, dupa ce dormisem doar 3 ore (m'am apucat sa ma uit la un film si am lungit'o aiurea, m'am bagat in pat pe la 2:30 si m'am trezit in jur de 5:30 ca sa prind trenul) si dupa ce m'am invartit aiurea prin casa facand bagajul, indreptandu'mi parul, machiajul, dus si restul de chestii pe care le facem noi fetele si care ne iau o groaza de vreme (ah, si dupa ce am schimbat geanta cu alta, pentru ca in prima nu incapeau toate prostiile pe care le'am carat cu mine pentru 2 zile :D) am reusit sa ies pe usa, intr'un final, cu vreo 50 de minute inainte sa plece trenul :)) Si imaginati'va, eu cu o geanta de laptop atarnand pe o parte si cu alta geanta mica peste ea, si cu bagajul in cealalta mana, alergand dupa autobuz (plin pana la refuz) si metrou si ajungand in gara la 8:17, record jur. Eram tare fericita de realizare, si asa fericita cum eram eu m'am dus sa cumpar biletul, logic, si tanti de la bilete mi'a spus ca intarzie trenul. Bun, ma gandeam ca undeva la 15-20minute sau ceva de genul, dar nu, intarzia o ora. Eram un pic socata, dar na e Romania, e ceva normal :)), asa ca m'am dus pana la Mec sa imi iau un shake si ceva sa mananc. Am stat acolo cat am stat, m'am plictisit pana la urma si am zis sa ma duc sa vad cat mai e pana vine trenul. Si ce sa vezi, de la 60minute, a ajuns la 85, mi'a picat fata efectiv (adica era frig afara si in gara nu e cald ca e in aer liber, dupa cum stiti, si in dimineata aia erau vreo 2 grade in Bucuresti, groaznic). Am asteptat, dar asteptarea mea s'a intins la 105minute, apoi la 115 si intr'un final a aparut si trenul. Am reusit sa ajung si in Brasov pe la un 1 si un pic, unde ninsese deja si muntii, copacii si totul erau inveliti in alb (tare pitoresc, am poze!!!), mi'am rezolvat treburile si apoi am pierdut vremea prin oras cu varul meu pana tarziu. M'am intors seara urmatoare in Bucuresti cu un tren care a ajuns in gara si a plecat la timp (slava domnului)!

Asa ca de data asta nu este un post despre mine si moda (bine este despre mine, dar nu despre moda), dar un post cu imagini frumoase! 

Black and White - Animal Print

Hello there!

So I haven't posted anything with my personal style for a while now and it's about time to do a post with me :D These pictures where taken after the Absolutely Fabulous vintage fair (so they are like 1 month and a half old, something like that) in the historical center in Bucharest. The outfit was composed of an old Zara blouse (I think I bought it like 3 years ago and wore it twice, even though I love it so much, I don't know why I'm not wearing it more) and a leopard print dress made skirt by me (hated how it looked as a dress and never wear it so I had to transform it or get rid of it, I chose the first one and I think I made a really good choice) as main pieces. The accessories aren't that many, I wanted a cameo necklace, but changed my mind. I went for an old-new look (the victorian style blouse and the leopard print skirt) and I felt really good in it. Enough with the chat, I don't want you to get bored! So enjoy the photos (well I hope you'll enjoy)!

P.S.: I know one of my earings is torn, but I saw that too late and couldn't do the pics all over again!

N'am mai postat poze cu stilul meu personal de ceva vreme si cred ca este timpul sa fac un post in care eu sa fiu in cetrul atentiei :D Pozele astea au fost facute imediat dupa targul vintage Absolutely fabulous (asa ca au cam o luna si jumatate vechime, ceva de genul) in centrul istoric din Bucuresti. Tinuta a fost alcatuita dintr'o bluza Zara (veche de vreo 3 ani, purtata de vreo 2 ori, nu stiu de ce o port asa de rar avand in vedere ca e una din piesele mele preferate) si o fosta rochie cu print de leopard transformata in fusta de catre mine (ca rochie am urat'o la propriu, nu stiu de ce am cumparat'o, asa ca aveam 2 optiuni fie o transform, fie o arunc, am ales prima varianta si cred ca am facut o alegere tare buna) ca piese principale. Accesoriile nu sunt foarte multe, vroiam sa adaug un lant cu pandantiv cameo, dar m'am razgandit. Am mers pe ideea unul look nou/vechi (bluza in stil victorian si fusta cu imprimeu de leopard) si chiar m'am simtit bine in tinuta asta. De ajuns cu vorba, nu vreau sa va plictisesc, asa ca va las sa va bucurati de poze (sper sa va placa)!

P.S.: Stiu ca un cercel e intors, dar am vazut abia dupa ce am facut pozele si nu aveam rabdarea necesara sa le fac din nou!

London Fashion Week - Spring/Summer 2013 Selections - Part 2

Today I'm back with the 2nd part of the London Fashion Week selections. You'll see some great pictures from Vivienne Westwood Red Label's show (a very interesting collection, you'll know why when you see the pictures, from the clothes to the make-up the models look like fashionable grannies :D), from Temperly London, Willow, Antonio Berardi, Todd Lynn and Christopher Kane. For me the most appealing collections were from Vivienne Westwood, Temperly London and Willow, the rest kinda look the same and don't have that special feel, maybe because are very comercial, after all we are speaking about ready to wear. 

Astazi ma intorc cu cea de-a 2a parte a selectiilor din ceea ce a insemnat London Fashion Week. Veti vedea poze geniale din prezentarea lui Vivienne Westwood Red Label (o colectie tare interesanta, o sa puteti observa asta si voi cand veti vedea imaginile, incepand de la haine si pana la machiaj, modelele arata ca niste bunicute moderne :D), precum si din prezentarile lui Temperly London, Antonio Berardi, Todd Lynn si Christopher Kane. Pentru mine cele mai bune si interesante colectii, din aceasta selectie, au fost cele ale lui Vivienne Westwood, Temperly London si Willow, celelalte mi s'au parut un pic banale, le lipsea acel ceva, poate si pentru ca sunt foarte comerciale, totusi este vorba despre pret-a-porter.

London Fashion Week - Spring/Summer 2013 Selections - Part 1

Hello there!

I've been out of the scene for the past week and haven't updated my blog with anything! But I'm back with selections from the collections presented at London Fashion Week. I can't say I've been impressed with what the designers showed for this season, I've liked better New York Fashion Week, but I have a couple of pieces that I like from London as well. My favorite collections are by far from Issa London, Giles, Vivienne Westwood  Red Label, Temperly London and Fashion Fringe. Today I'll show you some pieces from Issa London's collection (a very colourful collection I might say filled with asian details), from Gilles, Fashion Fringe, Osman, Matthew Williamson and Emilio de la Morena. I hope you'll like my selections.

Am disparut din "lumina reflectoarelor" in ultima saptamana si nu am mai updatat blogul. Dar m'am intors, si nu cu mana goala, ci cu material pentru posturi noi. Astazi veti vedea o parte din cele mai bune colectii de la London Fashion Week (in opinia mea evident) si maine restul. Nu pot sa spun ca am fost impresionata de piesele pe care le'au aratat designerii londonezi pentru sezonul primavara-vara 2013, personal mi'a placut mai mult New York Fashion Week, dar sunt cateva piese care mi'au atras atentia si la saptamana modei din Londra. Colectiile mele preferate, de departe, apartin lui Issa London, Giles, Vivienne Westwood Red Label, Temperly London si Fashion Fringe. Azi veti vedea piese din colectia Issei London (o colectie plina de culoare si incarcata cu elemente de inspiratie asiatica), Gilles, Fashion Fringe, Osman, Matthew Williamson si Emilio de la Morena. Sper sa va placa selectiile mele.

Flower Power

This is by far the ugliest day from the last 3-4months! It started raining last night around 10pm and never stopped, it's still raining. Today I've had my master admission exam, not the best experience of my life I might say, but I'm happy that it's finished, if I enter that program it will be nice, but if not I have another master where I could go. For this ugly day, I have photos from a sunny one, that reminds me of the summer that just passed. This is one of my favorite dresses mostly because of the print (I adore flower prints) and the fact that it doesn't make me look big or stuff like that, if you know what I mean, and also it's very comfortable.

Ziua de astazi este de departe ce'a mai urata din ultimele 3-4 luni! A inceput sa ploua noaptea trecuta pe la ora 10 si nu s'a mai oprit, inca ploua! Azi am avut si examenul de admitere la masterat, nu cea mai placuta experienta din viata asta, insa sunt fericita ca a trecut. Daca intru la programul respectiv bine, daca nu am alt masterat la care ma pot duce. Asa ca pentru ziua asta mohorata am pregatit poze dintr'o zi frumoasa si calduroasa, care imi aminteste de vara ce tocmai a trecut. Aceasta este una dintre rochiile mele preferate, in special datorita imprimeului (iubesc imprimeurile florale) si pentru ca nu ma face sa par enorma in ea sau ceva de genul asta, daca stiti la ce ma refer, si pe deasupra este si extrem de confortabila.

New York Fashion Week Spring Summer 2013 - Selections Part 1

So I've gathered some of the best collection that I've seen at NYFW and divided them into 2 parts, because there are so many beautiful garments to show you guys! Unfortunately I have some time management issues and I can't make reviews for them! In this post you'll be seeing selections from Anna Sui, Badgley and Mischka, Catherine Malandrino, Donna Karan and Nanette Lepore. You'll see that their styles are very different from Victorian-grunge-punk to very feminine pieces. I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I did while selecting them.

Am adunat cele mai bune colectii pe care le'am vazut la NYFW si le'am impartit in 2 parti, pentru ca sunt atatea piese superbe pe care vreau sa vi le arat! Din pacate in perioada asta nu stau foarte bine la capitolul timp liber si nu pot sa scriu cate ceva despre fiecare in parte! In acest post veti vedea selectii din colectiile lui Anna Sui, Badgley&Mischka, Catherine Malandrino, Donna Karan si Nanette Lepore. Veti observa ca stilurile lor sunt tare diferite pornind de la piese inspirate din stilul Victorian-grunge-punk si terminand cu unele foarte feminine. Sper ca au sa va incante privirea la fel de mult cum mi'au incantat'o mie cand le'am selectat.

Carolina Herrera's Spring/Summer 2013 - One Word - Refinement

 

The moment you see this collection, you know it's Carolina Herrera! Elegant silhouettes and shirts with very masculine collars, you know it's her. I love this collection and the show for me was the best from New York Fashion Week, the movement of the models and the clothes went so well with the music, a modern adaptation of the piece "Sisters of the Moon" of Fleetwood Mac from 1979. The light colours, white and icy blue went amazing with this song, the orange lace and black tulle as well. Very few powerful colours (orange, black and a silver gray) and many subtle ones, made this collection full of refinement and femininity. The long skirts and dresses, the skirts over the ankle, the brocade print and the small belts, compliment the finesse of this collection, which reminds me of the women's fashion from 1910. 

If Diane von Furstenberg's collection was a bohemian one, this is extremely elegant! Two different designers, two different collection, but one single fact: for me they showed themselves in their collections the best out of all the designers there!

In momentul in care vezi aceasta colectie, stii ca este vorba de Carolina Herrera! Siluete elegante si camasi cu gulere masculine, stii ca este ea. Ador aceasta colectie, iar show'ul pentru mine a fost cel mai bun dintre toate ce au fost prezentate la New York Fashion Week, miscarea modelelor si a hainelor au fost intr'o armonie totala cu muzica, o adaptare moderna a piesei "Sisters of the Moon" de la Fleetwood Mac din anul 1979. Culorile deschise, alb si albastru inghetat s'au potrivit perfect cu aceasta melodie, dantela portocalie si tulleul negru de asemenea. Foarte putine culori puternice (portocaliu, negru si gri metalizat) si multe culori subtile au facut din aceasta colectie una plina de rafinament si feminitate. Fustele si rochiile lungi, fustele deasupra gleznei, imprimeul din brocard si curelele subtiri, au complimentat finetea acestei colectii, care imi aminteste de moda anilor 1910.

Daca colectia lui Diane von Furstenberg a fost una boema, aceasta este una extrem de eleganta! Doi designeri diferiti, doua colectii diferite, insa un lucru il au in comun: pentru mine sunt designeri care si'au expus cel mai bine stilul si pe ei insisi in colectiile lor fata de toti ceilalti designeri prezenti la saptamana modei din New York.

Swallow Print

I was obsessed with this print for a while and wasn't able to find anything in the stores! Seen many pieces with this type of pattern in online shops, but I wasn't sure of the fabric and if the clothes will look good on me, you know stuff like that. But thank god, H&M exists and while I was looking through the store found this really cute dress with the swallow print! So guess what, I bought it! And I think I made a great choice, because it's very versatile! Here I'm wearing it in a more casual look, maybe if the fall doesn't come so fast I'll have the chance to show it to you in a more elegant outfit.

De o groaza de vreme am fost (si inca sunt) obsedata de hainele cu imprimeu de randunica pe ele si din pacate nu reuseam sa gasesc nimic prin magazinele de la noi! Evident se gaseau o multime de haine cu imprimeul asta in magazinele online, dar sincer nu eram foarte sigura nici de material, nici de masura, daca nu'mi venea bine ce faceam, stiti voi ce zic aici. Dar slava domnului ca exista H&M (desi la inceput n'am fost mare fan, nici acum nu ma pot numi, dar mai gasesc unele chestii dragute) si cum ma plimbam eu prin magazin vad intr'un colt rochia asta cu imprimeu de randunele pe ea! Evident ca am fost extra fericita si am cumparat'o fara sa stau pe ganduri. Si cred ca am facut o alegere tare buna, pentru ca este foarte versatila. Aici spre exemplu o port intr-o tinuta ceva mai casual, si poate daca nu vine vremea rea asa repede o sa am sansa sa v'o arat si intr'o tinuta mai eleganta.

Diane Von Furstenberg's Spring/Summer 2013 - The Queen of Prints

A great collection for Spring/Summer 2013 from Diane von Furstenberg dominated by beautiful prints and drapes! Combined prints, draped skirts and tunics over pants, gorgeous and elegant jumpsuits, all with a bohemian vibe! Even though the bohemian feel it's very powerful, you can see that it has a certain elegance, specific to DVF. All the draping reminds me of the Ancient Rome and the skirts and dresses over pants of the Indian sari. Vibrant colours such as coral, yellow, blue, light green, purple, combined with more toned down colours, such as terracotta, black, white, navy. Light fabrics for the draped pieces and more structured ones for the tailored clothes. An amazing collection in which you can see extremely well Diane von Furstenberg's style.

O minunata colectie pentru primavara/vara 2013 din partea Dianei von Furstenberg dominata de imprimeuri superbe si drapaje. Imprimeuri combinate, fuste drapate si tunici peste pantaloni, jumpsuit'uri superbe, toate create pentru un spirit boem. Chiar daca sentimentul boem este atat de puternic, se poate observa ca are o eleganta anume, specifica lui DVF. Toate drapajele imi amintesc de Roma antica, iar fustele si rochiile peste pantaloni de sariul indian. Culori puternice precum corai, galben, albastru, verde deschis, mov, combinate cu culori ceva mai temperate cum este caramiziul, negrul, bleumarin si alb. Materiale fine pentru piesele drapate si ceva mai structurate pentru hainele cu croiala fixa. O colectie superba, in care se poate observa extrem de bine stilul lui Diane von Furstenberg!

Monique Lhuillier's Spring/Summer 2013 - Sea Colours

I'm back with pictures from Monique Lhuillier's show dominated by sea water colours! Great colorful pieces, mostly in the blue colour, prints that resembled fish skin, they looked wonderful on the runway! Tones of glitter, dark blue and gold, and very light fabrics, such as lace and chiffon! The collection had mostly dresses, medium and long ones, and some looks with long waisted pants! A very feminine collection, with beautiful vibrant colours! Enjoy!

M'am intors cu imagini din prezentarea lui Monique Lhuillier, dominata de culorile apei de mare! Piese colorate, in mare in albastru, paiete in albastru inchis stralucitor si auriu, imprimeuri ce aduc a solzi de peste si materiale fine, precum matasea si chiffonul, cam asa se prezinta colectia acestui designer. Compusa in mare parte din rochii si fuste, medii sau lungi, intalnim si pantaloni pana cu talie inalta sau pantaloni scurti! O colectie foarte feminina, cu culori superbe. Sper sa va placa!

Jason Wu's Spring/Summer 2013 - A Dream

As I've said earlier, I'm coming back with a post about Jason Wu's collection, by far my favourite! It has something that for me makes it special! It has lace, leather, light fabrics such as chiffon, the ending of the dresses and skirts is really cute (I myself have a skirt with that kind of ending), corsets combined with the upper part of a shirt, elegant prints, what more can you want. The colours are mainly black and white, a bit of beige, navy and coral. A beautiful collection!

Asa cum am spus mai devreme, ma intorc cu un post despres colectia lui Jason Wu, preferata mea de pana acum. Are ceva ce o face speciala pentru mine. Are dantela, piele, materiale fine precum chiffonul, iar rochiile si fustele sunt tare dragute, se termina cu dantela brodata (am si eu o fusta exact in genul asta), corsetele sunt combinate cu partea superioara a camasilor (arata tare interesant), imprimeuri elegante, ce poti sa ceri mai mult. Culorile in mare sunt dominate de negru si alb, insa intalnim si bej, bleumarin si corai. O colectie superba!

Live From the Runway

Yes, it's New York Fashion Week and guess what you can see it live on Youtube (here's the link Live From the Runway). So the designers are presenting their ready-to-wear collection for the spring-summer 2013, and I might say that they look very good. Less pastel colours, more vivid ones, black and grey, darker tones, for the fabrics lace and prints are still on the wave, even though you can see less floral prints and more splash ones, chiffon, silk, organza, tones of glitter and sparkles, it will be a great spring/summer! And the best thing is that we can see live a big part of the shows. The schedule is also on the channel and a countdown till the next show. 

Here I've selected some of the pieces that I liked from Charlotte Ronson, Alexander Wang (who had kind of a weird collection if you ask me) and Jill Stewart. My favourite collection so far are those of Jason Wu and Monique Lhuillier, I'll write about them really soon.

Designerii isi prezinta colectiile de pret-a-porter pentru sezonul primavara-vara 2013, si nu pot sa spun decat ca arata promitator. Mai putine pasteluri (slava domnului, eu personal le detest, nu le consider culori), culori mai vii, negru si gri, tonuri ceva mai inchise, iar in ceea ce priveste materialele, dantela si imprimeurile sunt in continuare pe val, chiar daca nu mai sunt atat de multe imprimeuri florale, ci cele in care culoarea pare aruncata ca intr-un tablou, chiffon, matase, organza, o multime de paiete si materiale sclipicioase, o sa fie o primavara/vara cu adevarat geniala! Si de departe cel mai bun lucru este ca putem vedea in direct o mare parte din prezentari. Programul se gaseste afisat pe canal si exista chiar si o numaratoare inversa pana la urmatorul show.

Am selectat aici cateva piese care mi'au placut, din prezentarile lui Charlotte Ronson, Alexander Wang (care daca e sa ma intrebati, a avut o colectie tare ciudata) si Jill Stewart. Colectiile mele preferate pana acum au fost de departe cele al lui Jason Wu si Monique Lhuillier, despre care am sa scriu cat de curand.

While It's Still Sunny

The summer ended, as well as my vacation (well literally speaking - I'm still free, but have to write an essay, read some books, you know stuff like that for my master admission - such a blast). But I'm not sad, at least it's warm and sunny outside and I can still sleep till noon! So another quick post with the outfit that I had at my graduation this summer!

Uite asa s'a dus si vara, cu tot cu vacanta mea (teoretic sunt inca in vacanta, practic nu prea - trebuie sa scriu un eseu, sa citesc niste carti, chestii de genul asta, stiti voi la ce ma refer, pt. admiterea la master - e tare "distractiv"). Da nu este asa un capat de tara, sa privim partea buna a lucrurilor, afara e inca soare si cald si macar pot sa dorm pana pe la pranz! Asa ca un post rapid cu tinuta pe care am purtat'o la festivitatea de absolvire din vara asta!

After A Long Day

I've taken these pictures at the end of my graduation day, which was one of the longest days ever. So after I spent the entire day in heels (I usualy wear heels, so I'm used to it, but this was one of those days when you can't sit down at all), more exactly 10 hours, maybe more, don't really remember, the most casual outfit that I could find was this dress and those flat sandals. Yeah, that day I was meeting with a good friend, the gorgeous flowers are from her (ty again Ioana), and I changed into the most comfortable pice I could find in my closet. The sandals that I have on (you can't see them very well) were bought 4years ago when I was in Paris, from Zara. They were the last pair there (they were waiting for me for sure), and they are by far the most comfortable piece of footwear that I have :D

Am facut pozele din postul de azi la sfarsitul zilei in care am avut festivitatea de absolvire, una dintre cele mai lungi si obositoare zile ever. Asa ca dupa ce am stat toata ziua pe niste tocuri imense (de regula port numai tocuri, asa ca sunt obisnuita, dar in ziua respectiva n'am apucat sa stau jos mai deloc, afara era o caldura infernala, am mai alergat sa ma inscriu si la licenta and so on), mai exact in jur de 10 ore, e posibil sa fi fost mai mult, nu'mi aduc aminte foarte bine, cea mai comoda tinuta la care am putut sa ma gandesc a fost alcatuita din rochia si sandalele astea. Da, in ziua respectiva, dupa toata alergatura si nervii pe care mi i'am facut (evident ca intr'o asemenea zi nu pot lipsi nervii :))), trebuia sa ma vad cu o buna prietena, buchetul acela superb de flori este de la ea (merci, Ioana :D), asa ca m'am schimbat in ceva mai comfortabil (tinuta de la absolvire o sa o pun in alt post). Sandalele pe care le port (desi nu le puteti vedea prea bine, am sa vorbesc putin despre ele) le'am cumparat acum 4 ani de la Zara din Paris, ultima pereche de acolo (parca aveau numele meu scris pe ele :D, deci pe mine ma asteptau clar) si sunt cele mai comfortabile incaltari pe care le detin, si de departe cele mai durabile (la cat le'am purtat si prin cate au trecut, ma surprinde si acum ca n'au patit nimic). Sper sa ma mai tina inca 4 ani de acum inainte, pt. ca sunt geniale :D.

Asymmetrical Lace Dress

Today I'm going to post an outfit from like 2months ago, with the dress that I wore at my graduation prom. It's not something very fancy, I don't really like the typical dress that all the girls wear for this type of occasions, I like more comfortable clothes, especialy for long nights :D Before founding this dress I was quite stresses out, cause I didn't had the time to go to look for something and I wasn't in the mood either, also I wanted something cheap (cuz I hate buying expensive clothes, wear them once and after that keeping them in the closet and never wear them again), so good luck with that. But, one day while I was looking for a day dress for this summer, I've entered a bit at H&M just to see what they had new there, and in a corner I saw this dress, well actualy I saw lace, and when I see lace I can't see anything else :D The colour wasn't exactly on my taste, but I couldn't find it in another colour so I thought I should try it, no harm from that no. So I did that, and well it looked good, was cheap (only 28$ / 22euros, can u believe it!!!), was made out of lace, so I bought it, after all I had some time to buy something else if by any chance I would have changed my mind.

That's the story behind this dress, the other stuff that I wore I already had it in my closet, except the necklace that I bought it a week before the prom.

So nothing very fancy, pretty comfortable, I hope you like it!

Azi am sa postez o tinuta de acum 2 luni, mai exact rochia pe care am purtat'o la balul de absolvire (urasc atat de mult cuvantul "bal", suna foarte chicios in mintea mea). Nu e ceva pretentios sau extra elegant, personal nu ma omor dupa rochiile standard care se poarta pe la genul asta de evenimente, multe sunt asa de chicioase, zici ca esti la nunta (nu sunt mare fan al nuntilor), prefer rochiile ceva mai comode, mai ales daca trebuie sa stai o noapte intreaga in ea :D Inainte sa gasesc rochia asta, am fost tare stresata, pentru ca nu aveam nici timp nici chef sa alerg dupa rochii, si vroiam si ceva ieftin (asta pentru ca urasc sa cumpar haine scumpe, sa le port o singura data si dupa sa le tin in sifonier si sa se puna praful pe ele). Clar aveam niste cerinte imense! Dar intr'o zi, in timp ce cautam o alta rochie, asta pentru o zi calduroasa de vara, mi s'a pus pata ca vreau rochie lunga, si daca ti se pune pata...cu totii stim cum e :D Si cum tot eram prin mall, am zis sa trec si pe la H&M sa vad ce mai au nou, si intr'un colt am vazut rochia asta, de fapt am vazut multa dantela, si cand vad dantela, nu mai vad nimic altceva :D Culoarea nu era tocmai din gama mea de culori, dar n'am gasit'o in alta culoare, asa ca am probat'o asa cum era. Spre surprinderea mea chiar pica bine pe mine si cum era ieftina (doar 99lei daca va vine sa credeti) si mai ales era din dantela, am cumparat'o, eventual daca nu vroiam sa o port la bal, aveam timp sa cumpar altceva.

Asta e povestea din spatele rochiei, celelalte chestii pe care le'am purtat se gaseau deja in sifonier, mai putin pandantivul pe care l'am cumparat cu o saptamana inainte de petrecere.

Asa ca nimic extravagant, destul de comfortabil, sper sa va placa!

Burgundy Red

Hello there!

My last 2 weeks were full of exams and tones of studying, so I didn't had time for anything else, not even leaving the house :| And i had some photos to post, but well, when to write the post when I was counting every free second that I had. It was awfull, but now it passed and I fell extremely liberated.

So when I took these pictures it was before the Easter (yeah, I know a long time ago, and I'm talking about the ortodox Easter) and it was one of those sunny days and finally got the chance to wear that burgundy red skirt and lace jacket. Yup, I bought them in october I think and never got the chance to wear them. I wanted something in burgundy red for a long time, found a blazer once at zara beutifull, but the shoulder pads where so big it look so weird (I hate everything that makes your shoulders look big) and was a bit irritated cuz of that. But then found this skirt and of course I bought it, and the lace jacket, oh well it's lace so I generally buy everything made out of lace :D

Ultimele mele 2 saptamani au fost efectiv pline, nu de lucruri bune :D, ci de examene si o groaza de invatat, asa k n'am avut timp de nimic, n'am iesit nici macar din casa :| Aveam si niste poze de postat, dar cand sa scriu postul cand eu numaram secundele libere pe care le aveam pe degete :)) A fost groaznic, dar acum a trecut si ma simt asa de libera si relaxata. Cand am facut pozele astea era o zi frumoasa si cu soare inainte de Paste si am profitat de ea pt. a purta in sfarsit fusta in rosu burgund si jacketa de dantela. Da, le'am cumparat prin octombrie si n'am apucat pana in ziua respectiva sa le port. De multa vreme cautam ceva in culoare rosu burgund, am si gasit un sacou la zara arata genial, mai putin umerii care erau supradimensionati si aratau tare ciudat (urasc sacourile cu umerasi supradimensionti si pe care nu poti sa ii scoti pt. ca exista marea posibilitate sa strici forma sacoului), chestia asta m'a iritat putin. Dar am gasit fusta asta si evident ca am cumparat'o, apoi jacketa din dantela, si logic ca at. cand e vorba de dantela sunt in stare sa imi dau si ultimii bani din portofel :))

Masculine all the way...or not!

Hello there!

This weather is messing with us, when it's warm, too warm for this period, when it's too cold, I just hate it. Today I left the house wearing only a blazer and a lace blouse, without a scarf or something to cover the lace part, you can imagine lace and under it my skin and the cold wind, oh it was a blast, because I thought "well it's only 6:30am, of course is a bit cold, later on it will be better". Well, no it wasn't, actually it was even colder and the wind more powerfull. Not the best day for me, I was sleepy, cold, then sleepy again, had an exam, but all is in the past now as I'm staying in front of my pc in a warm room and writting my blog.

These pictures were taken one or two weeks ago (didn't had the time, well I wasn't in the mood to write anyting :D) and I'm only putting them now, even though that day was really hot outside and now winter is back.

I've waited so long to wear that boyish blazer and those trousers, since I bought the blazer (love at first site) and i was wearing those exact pants, but never got the chance to put them together. Of course I wore a hat that day, I love hats, well only this type, and now that the weather is more permissive I try to wear them as much as I can. Unfortunately, the boots that I wanted to wear that day were at my aunt so I had to put another pair, I wasn't very enthusiastic about that, but it didn't look bad :D.

I love so much the masculine style, and you can see it in these pictures pretty well. Also, it's weird that all the clothes are from Zara (I rarely have only one brand on me, but that day it happened).

I'm not sure when I'll put other pictures with me on, maybe soon, but then again I'm not sure at all. Meanwhile, you'll see other posts, but not with me :D (exams are coming, I have tones to learn :( ).

Vremii asteia ii place sa se joace cu nervii nostri, cand e cald, prea cald pt. perioada asta, cand e prea frig, o urasc! Azi am plecat de acasa imbracata cu una bucata sacou si una bucata bluza de dantela, fara o esarfa mai groasa ceva sa acopar golul ala de dantela, asa ca va imaginati dantela, iar pe dedesubt pielea mea si vantul rece de afara, a fost de'a dreptul minunat, si asta numai pt. ca m'am gandit eu "e abia 6:30dimineata, e cam rece, dar sigur mai tarziu se incalzeste". Ei bine, nu, nu s'a incalzit, de fapt s'a facut si mai frig afara, iar vantul batea de ziceai ce'i. Nu cea mai buna zi pt. mine, si'asa imi era somn, frig, somn din nou, am avut si un examen, dar totul este in trecut, acum stau linistita la caldura, in fata pc'ului si scriu la blog.

Pozele astea au fost facute acum o saptamana sau 2 in urma (nu am avut timp, mai bine zis n'am prea avut chef sa le postez :D) si le pun abia acum, desi in ziua respectiva era foarte cald afara si acum a venit iarna iar peste noi.

Am asteptat atata vreme sa port sacoul asta masculin si pantalonii respectivi, de cand am cumparat sacoul (dragoste la prima vedere, ce sa zic :D) si culmea, in ziua respectiva purtam exact pantalonii astia, dar n'am apucat pana acum sa ii pun impreuna. Bineinteles am purtat si o palarie in ziua respectiva, iubesc palariile, de fapt numai astea masculine, restul nu prea, si cum vremea e ceva mai permisiva acum incerc sa le port cat mai des. Din pacate, ghetele pe care vroiam sa le port erau la matusa mea si a trebuit sa iau alta pereche, desi nu eram prea entuziasmata de idee, dar n'a aratat prea rau :D.

Imi place la nebunie stilul masculin, asa cum o sa vedeti si in pozele astea. O alta chestie ciudata este ca toate hainele sunt de la Zara (foarte rar port un singur brand, dar in ziua aceea s'a intamplat).

Nu sunt sigura cand am sa mai postez poze cu outfit'urile mele, poate curand, dar totusi nu garantez.

Intre timp, o sa vedeti alte posturi, dar nu cu mine :D (vin examenele si am o tona de invatat :( ).
